Blessing of the Animals Our second annual blessing of the animals will be held on Saturday, October 9 at 6:00 PM at the church. The Blessing of the Animals is held in connection with the saint day of St. Francis of Assissi in October. Last year’s service was a huge success and we hope to get even more folks this year. All pets are asked to be leashed, caged or contained in some other way. It is truly a wonderful experience to give thanks to God for our pets and ask God’s blessing upon them to be healthy and loving companions in our homes. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family as well. Join us on October 9 as we ask God’s blessing on our treasured little friends!
