Emmanuel Lutheran Church is expanding.  Over the years of growth, our building has not kept up.

• We have conducted a Capital Campaign raising pledges of $630,000.
• Worked with an Architect to draw up plans.
• Received approval from the City of Livonia.
• Hired a General Contractor.
• Congregation has approved going forward.  Vote was 117 yes, 2 no, 1 abstain.

We are now in construction.  Pictures showing the construction progress are available in the menu on the left.  Our addition should be ready in May 2008.

Ground breaking was on October 7 at 10:30 AM.  Pictures from the event are available in the menu bar on the left.

This addition is providing for more classrooms, a relocated fellowship hall, expanded office area, and a desperately needed expanded Narthex.
